Alshaheen News
Eight coronavirus deaths and 1,368 cases were recorded in Lebanon in the last 24 hours, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
“The health situation in Lebanon in view of the spread of the coronavirus is negative as the country is on the verge of winter, and we have serious fears about the number of infections with the virus during this season,” Health Minister Hamad Hassan said during a tour of hospitals in Beirut.
He urged the public to adhere to the “highest standards” of prevention.
Hassan said there is no shortage of ventilators in hospitals, but the problem is with the number of intensive care beds, “that’s why the health situation is very critical.”
