A slight rise in temperatures is predicted on Monday, becoming around their annual average and bringing moderate autumn-like weather conditions in the highlands and plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds are also expected to appear at low altitudes, mainly in the northern and central regions, and winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly moderate, the JMD added.
Over the next two days, the Kingdom will be affected by a relatively hot air mass, pushing mercury levels few degrees, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 18C degrees at night, while highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to a sizzling 36C, and lows will stand at 24C during night hours.
