Relatively hot spell to subside today

Alshaheen News

A relatively hot air mass that affected the Kingdom over the last few days is expected to ease off as of Wednesday, so the weather will change to be moderate over the mountains and plains and relatively hot in the Badia areas, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds are also expected to appear at various altitudes, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD added.

Mercury levels will drop few degrees on Thursday, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail until Friday, with clouds at different altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD predicted.

Temperatures for today in Amman are forecast to see a high of 33 degrees Celsius, and a low of 20C, while highs in the port city of Aqaba and the Dead Sea will jump to 38C, sliding to 25C at night.
