UK reports 6,178 COVID-19 infections

Some 6,178 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the UK Wednesday, pushing the caseload to 409,729, according to the Department of Health and Social Work (DHSW).

COVID-19, a lung disease caused by the novel and highly contagious coronavirus, killed 37 within the last 24 hours as the tally surpasses 41,862, the DHSW.
