Madaba sees new Covid-19 infection, says its governor

Governor of Madaba, Ali Madi, announced on Saturday, that a new Covid-19 infection has been recorded in the city.

The case involves a a 37-year-old woman after she came into contact with an infected person at Al-Bashir Hospital in the capital, Madi told “Petra.”

The infected woman was transferred to the designated quarantine area in the Dead Sea, he said, adding her family’s home is under lockdown.

Her 7 contacts will be tested and work is underway to sterilize her home, according to the governor.
