Jordan receives foreign aid of $1 billion in July

The value of foreign aid received by Jordan during July amounted to $1 billion, as revealed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
It was distributed as follows:
.Development grants: $395 million-
.Soft loans: $284 million-
: Additional grants within the Jordanian response plan to the Syrian crisis-
. $384 million
Total foreign assistance committed from January 1 to July 31, 2020, amounted to $1.7 billion, as follows:
-Total development grants: $589 million.
-Total soft loans: $507 million.
Total additional grants within the Syrian crisis response plan: $597 million, distributed as follows:
.Supporting refugees: $124 million-
.Projects for the host community: $123 million-
.Support through the general budget: $350 million-
