425 new coronavirus deaths reported in US

The United States recorded 425 new deaths from the novel coronavirus during the last 24 hours, according to data from the Johns Hopkins University on Tuesday.

The new deaths bring the US COVID-19 death toll to more than 120 thousand, while the total number of cases hit around 2.31 million, the university’s figures showed, noting that some 640,000 patients have recovered.
