Temperatures are expected to drop few degrees on Tuesday, bringing normal summer weather conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be relatively hot, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
A further dip in mercury levels is forecast on Wednesday, so moderate conditions will persist until Thursday in most regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the Department added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, and 26 degrees in the northern cities, dipping to 18 and 16 degrees respectively at night. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will rise to 41 degrees, while lows will stand at 24 at night.
