Moderate weather forecast until Thursday

Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday and Wednesday, but fair weather conditions will continue to prevail in the highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Thursday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, despite a slight drop in mercury levels, the Department added.

Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, and 26 degrees in the northern cities, dipping to 17 and 14 degrees respectively at night. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will rise to 38 degrees, while lows will stand at 25 at night.
