A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, so relatively hot weather will prevail in the highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, with westerly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
A further dip in mercury levels is forecast on Wednesday, becoming around their annual average, and bringing moderate conditions until Thursday in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD added.
Temperatures in the capital, Amman, will hit a high of 33 degrees Celsius during daytime, dipping to 21 degrees at night. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will rise to 41 degrees, while lows will stand at 26 at night.
