Iraq: 6 confirmed cases of coronavirus

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Iraq has reached six, after a a young man tested positive for the disease in Baghdad on Thursday.

In a statement, Iraqi Ministry of Health spokesperson Sayif al-Badir said the young man had returned to the country from Iran and underwent a test for the disease.

He was placed in quarantine in the al-Furat hospital, al-Badir stated, adding that the he is in good health.
