A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, but cold and partly cloudy weather conditions will continue to prevail with a chance of spotty showers in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily report.
The Department expected chilly evening with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
The highs today will reach 14 degrees Celsius in Amman, 10 in the northern region and 8 in the southern highlands, sliding down to 5, 3 and 1 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 19 degrees dropping down to 10 at night, the JMD noted
Mercury levels will continue to rise on Thursday, bringing fair weather in many areas of the country and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with high clouds and southeasterly to southwesterly moderate winds, the JMD further said.
Friday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions with the appearance of low clouds in the late night hours, the JMD added.
