Radical settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Jewish extremist settlers early Monday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian source confirmed.

In a statement to “Petra” reporter in Ramallah, General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said the radical settlers carried out today’s raid through Al-Magharebah Gate, under heavy protection of Israeli police and army.

“The occupation police closed Al-Magharebah Gate after the morning incursions, during which they provided full protection to the settlers” he said, adding that the settlers toured Al-Aqsa yards and listened to briefings on the alleged temple.

Extremist settlement organizations are preparing to carry out major incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Buraq Wall in occupied Jerusalem.
