Radical settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

– Dozens of Jewish extremist settlers early Wednesday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian source confirmed.

In an interview with Petra’s reporter in Ramallah, General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said the settlers’ raid, which was carried from Al- Magharebah Gate, was under heavy protection of Israeli elite police.

The settlers “provocatively” performed their Talmudic rituals, while Muslim worshipers, the Mosque’s guards and al- Murabitun peacefully confronted them chanting Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greater), he pointed out.

Meanwhile, the occupation’s municipality in Jerusalem, backed by military troops, today stormed Abu al-Nawar and Wadi Abu Hindi gathering, Bedouin communities, southeast of occupied Jerusalem and demolished two Palestinian homes and an agricultural barrack, the Popular Committee for Resisting the Wall and Settlement in Abu al-Nawar said.
