Jewish extremist settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Jewish extremist settlers early Tuesday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian source confirmed.
The General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, told Petra”s reporter in Ramallah that today”s raid by the radical settlers was carried out from Al- Magharebah Gate under heavy protection of Israeli special police.
The settlers provocatively roamed the compound, he added.
Meanwhile, tens of extremist settlers, supported by Israeli forces and military vehicles, closed Jenin-Nablus Street near Silat al-Dahr village, south of Jenin, Fatah movement said in a statement, adding that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters against Palestinian citizens.
Violent confrontations erupted in the area between the occupation soldiers and Palestinians, protesting the killing of prisoner Sami Abu-Diyak, who passed away early today inside an Israeli prison hospital due to medical negligence.
