Jordan received Israeli request to discuss Baqoura, Ghumar: Ghunaimat

Minister of State for Media Affairs, Jumana Ghunaimat, said Jordan has received an official request from Israel in order to start consultations on the annexes of Baqoura and Ghumar.

Jordan, Ghunaimat said, used its legal right as stipulated in the peace deal with Israel and decided not to renew the agreement.

She added that the Kingdom is committed to entering consultations with Israel, in a way that preserves Jordan’s national interests.
