UAE ambassador to Amman discusses bilateral “deep-rooted” ties

UAE Ambassador to Amman, Matar Shamsi, underlined the strong and distinguished relations between the UAE and Jordan in various fields, and both sides keenness to enhance them.

During a meeting at the University of Jordan, Shamsi discussed the deep-rooted ties between the two countries, pointing to the importance of the UAE’s Minister of Finance visit to Amman in implementation of the Makkah agreement.

The ambassador highlighted the Emirati investments in Jordan including the renewable energy field and Al Maabar company in Aqaba.

The discussions revolved around the importance of creating a Jordanian-Emirati strategic dialogue, due to the similar stance both countries have on the majority of regional issues.
