FADY KATAYA LAUNCHES HIS BOOK “PAPIER DE POUDRE”

Famed Lebanese makeup artist Fady Kataya has celebrated the launching of his long-awaited book “Papier de Poudre – Time Travel through Makeup” in Amman, Jordan at the Fairmont hotel.
The event featured a launching ceremony during which Kataya signed copies of his book in the presence of social media celebrities and renowned social and media figures, in addition to key figures from the beauty, fashion and design industry, all of whom came to support the artist on this much-anticipated occasion.
The book begins with a special dedication to the late director Yehya Saade, described by the author as his companion on the creative journey, his source of inspiration, and the mastermind behind all his artistic work. The book’s creative content retraces the history of makeup through different eras and places by featuring a rich portrayal of unique looks across time. A true masterpiece, the book is meant for everyone who is passionate about beauty and art. It also contains practical bilingual tutorial advice and steps in both English and Arabic, which makes it a true celebration of culture, fashion and visual photographic arts.
In the book’s foreword, Kataya writes: “Papier de Poudre” is for everyone who loves makeup, expression and being unique.
