Senate forms Speech from the Throne reply committee

The Senate, chaired by its President Faisal Fayez, and in the presence of Prime Minister, and the Cabinet members, held its first meeting in the third ordinary session of the 18th Parliament, which His Majesty King Abdullah II inaugurated with his Speech from the Throne earlier today.

During the session, the Upper Chamber formed an ad hoc committee comprising 5 Senators to draft the response to the Speech from the Throne on its behalf.
