Israeli forces storm Khan Al-Ahmar, demolish new established village

Israeli occupation forces on Thursday raided the threatened with eviction, Khan Al-Ahmar village, east of Jerusalem, and demolished another nearby newly established Wadi al-Ahmar Palestinian village.

A statement by the Chairman of the Commission Against the Wall and Settlements, Walid Assaf, said that Israeli military vehicles brought dozens of soldiers, stationed in the Jericho-Jerusalem road, adjacent to the village, and stormed the area, while Palestinians started chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is the Greatest).

“The soldiers demolished the Wadi al-Ahmar village, which was set up by Palestinian activists two days ago, and seized its caravans after being dismantled,” he added.

Occupation forces announced “Khan Al-Ahmar village” as a completely closed military zone, and prevented the locals from approaching their houses that had been removed after imposing a tight siege around the village.

Assaf urged the Palestinian people to move and support Khan Al-Ahmar village and help protect its families and properties from being demolished.
