Biden to visit Jordan Wednesday

The White House has announced that the US President is scheduled to travel to Jordan on Wednesday for meetings with His Majesty King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Previous reports from Hebrew media had indicated that Tel Aviv was making preparations to host US President Joe Biden either on Wednesday or Thursday.

Biden’s visit to Tel Aviv follows a series of discussions and visits conducted by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to several countries, including Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Egypt.

Biden’s visit to Jordan is primarily focused on addressing the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.
