Jordan, UAE talk social care cooperation

Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa and the United Arab Emirates Ambassador Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Nahyan on Monday discussed cooperation in social care.
In the meeting, Mustafa discussed the government’s efforts to enhance social protection services, which include linking the social protection strategy with the paths of administrative, economic, and political modernization.
In addition, she mentioned the valuable contributions made by charitable programs provided by the UAE in Jordan to help alleviate the hardships faced by targeted groups, particularly refugees.
Nahyan conveyed his sincere gratitude to the Jordanian government for their excellent cooperation and the top-notch facilitations offered to the UAE embassy in Amman, which greatly contributed to the triumph of philanthropic and humanitarian initiatives extended by the UAE in Jordan.
He commended Jordan’s expertise in delivering social services with a focus on refugee programs, and expressed a desire to broaden the scope of collaboration to attain mutually beneficial objectives for both nations.
