Hot temperatures expected Sunday with moderate winds

The weather forecast for Sunday indicates relatively high temperatures in the mountainous regions and plains, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience hotter conditions. A moderate northwest wind is expected, occasionally picking up.

As per the latest weather update by the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a minor decline in temperature is anticipated for Monday. The mountainous areas and plains will have a moderate level of heat, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot. The wind will blow from the northwest at a moderate speed, occasionally stirring dust in the Badia region.

The weather conditions will persistently be moderately hot in the mountainous areas and plains on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to experience hot weather. The northwest wind will maintain its moderate pace, occasionally becoming active, raising light dust in the Badia region.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 34 and 32 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 18 or even 16 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 40C and lows of 25C.
