Wednesday’s weather will be moderate over mountainous heights and plains, while the remainder of the regions can expect hot conditions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) provided in its daily update.

Clouds are expected to form at medium and high altitudes across the country, with scattered and occasional showers of rain possible in the eastern and southeastern parts of the Kingdom for a limited time, accompanied by southeast breezes.
As the day progresses, the wind is anticipated to slow down to a moderate southwesterly, occasionally becoming active.

The JMD has further expected a slight drop in temperature on Thursday, leading to moderate weather conditions in the mountainous heights and plains. In the rest of the regions, the weather will be relatively hot, with some clouds at medium and high altitudes in the eastern part of the Kingdom. The winds will be westerly moderate, occasionally brisk.

Similar weather patterns are forecast on Friday, with moderate northwesterly breezes occurring from time to time. These gusts may lead to the formation of dust in several regions, particularly in the desert areas.

However, a significant rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday, resulting in dusty and scorching weather over the high heights and plains.

The rest of the regions can anticipate hot conditions. Rain showers are also predicted in various parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by southeasterly winds. Additionally, an active southwesterly wind will be generating dust, contributing to the dusty conditions across the country.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 31 and 29 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 19 or even 17 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 38C and lows of 26C.
