Five killed in Israeli strike on Damascus

 Five people were killed and 15 others were injured after Israeli missiles hit the Syrian capital, Damascus, and the surrounding areas early Sunday.

Quoting a military source, the Syrian SANA news agency said that Israel carried out the raids targeting several areas in Damascus, causing five deaths and 15 injuries among civilians, and damage to several residential buildings.

“The Syrian air defenses had shot down some of the fired missiles,” the source added.
