Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to rise 4-5 degrees above the annual average, bringing sunny yet cold weather conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

The weather department warned of poor horizontal visibility over the highlands and parts of the Badia due to fog, and frost formation during the early morning hours.

Similar weather will prevail during the weekend, with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.

Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding to 12C at night.
