Cold weather to last through Saturday

 The prevailing cold weather conditions are forecast to continue across the Kingdom on Wednesday, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

In many of the Kingdom’s areas, poor horizontal visibility is expected in the early morning hours due to fog, while frost will be formed over the high peaks of Al-Sharah mountain range.

Cold weather will persist on Thursday despite a slight rise in mercury levels, with low clouds and southeasterly moderate winds.

On Friday and Saturday, temperatures will drop a few degrees, so cold weather will continue to prevail in most parts of the country.

Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 13 degrees Celsius and a low of 5C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 21C, sliding to 14C at night.
