MPs laud Paraguay’s decision to close embassy in Jerusalem

lawmakers commended Paraguayan president’s decision to stop the relocation of his country’s embassy to Jerusalem and to close the Israeli embassy in Asuncion.

In a memo put out on Sunday, the parliamentarians voiced their appreciation to the President of Paraguay for his positive step, which would thwart the US and Israeli plans to deal with Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

They called on the government to launch a strong stance aimed to enhance Jordan’s relations with Paraguay and to increase trade, cultural, and scientific cooperation between the two countries at all levels
