In line with their dedication to maintaining a safe and sustainable environment for its employees, guests, and visitors; Ayla Oasis Development Company collaborated with several authorities to undergo a triple drill training (fire, drowning, and water contamination) on one of its boats in Ayla’s Marine.
The training was conducted alongside the Civil Defense, Authority of the Royal Jordanian Navy, Naval Force, Sea Breeze & Aquamarine Company, and the Jordan Marine Company in Aqaba, to practice health and safety regulations that the government and upper management have placed.
The training was attended by Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority’s Chief of Commissioners, Nayef Bakhit, Aqaba Governor Khaled Al-Hajjaj, and the Directors of the Security Services from the Directorate of Police, Gendarmerie, Intelligence, Residency, and Borders in Aqaba.
Ayla’s Managing Director, Sahl Dudin assured that the training falls under the safety procedures that Ayla undergoes and abides by, indicating that these types of drills measure the company and employees’ preparations to deal with threatening situations, and raise the competency of Ayla’s employees in coping with emergencies and cases.
Dudin noted that Ayla has hired several individuals to monitor the undertaken practices that have taken a good deal of time to prepare for.
He also appreciated the efforts of all the parties for their constant support to make these practices effective and successful, commending the exceptional performance and high level of skills of those in charge of these institutions.
Hmoud Al Rawajfeh, Aqaba’s Civil Defense Director confirmed the importance of this type of drill training for the company’s employees to increase their necessary skills and experience to deal with incidents.
