Pleasant weather conditions are forecast to prevail countrywide on Tuesday, with clouds at various altitudes and a slight chance for scattered showers in the northern region, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Similar conditions will persist on Wednesday, while Thursday will see a slight drop in mercury levels, bringing relatively cold weather with rainfall in the northern and eastern parts of the country, accompanied by thunder.
On Friday, the Kingdom will be affected by a depression accompanied by a wet and relatively cold air mass centered over Cyprus. Therefore, a drop in temperatures is expected, with cloudy and rainy weather across many areas.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 22 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 7 and 8 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 31 degrees and lows standing at 19, the JMD explained.
