Jordan on Monday is expected to remain under the impact of unstable weather conditions, with cloudy skies and intermittent showers in various areas of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Rainfall will be heavier accompanied by thunder and hail at times, mainly in the eastern and southeastern regions, the JMD added.

In its report, the JMD warned of poor horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia, slippery roads in areas experiencing rain, flash floods in valleys and lowlands, and of fog formation in the late night hours over the highlands.

Similar unstable weather will persist on Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures will dip few degrees with cloudy and rainy conditions, the JMD predicted.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 23 degrees Celsius and a low of 10C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 30C, sliding to 19C at night.
