Pleasant weather forecast over weekend

 A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, bringing pleasant weather conditions in most parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds will appear at different altitudes, with northwesterly to northeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added.

During the weekend, pleasant weather will persist as another rise in mercury levels is expected, along with medium-altitude clouds and easterly moderate winds.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 20 degrees Celsius and a low of 10C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 29C, sliding to 18C at night.
