Temperatures on Tuesday are forecast to rise a few degrees above annual average, bringing fair weather in the highlands and the plains, while hot conditions will prevail in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds will form at medium altitudes, primarily in the south, with moderate to brisk northwesterly winds.

Despite a few temperature swings, the rest of the week will be marked by similar weather conditions. On Wednesday, temperatures will slightly decline before rising again on Thursday and Friday.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 32 degrees Celsius and a low of 18C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 39C, sliding to 26C at night.
