Airport highway reopened after pedestrian bridge collapse

Authorities removed a metal pedestrian bridge that collapsed onto the Airport Highway after it was struck by a truck early Monday, forcing the north and southbound lanes of the highway to close for several hours.

The highway is now open in both directions. According to the Public Security Department, four people suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
