Only 57 of those injured in Aqaba gas leak remain hospitalized

The total number of cases that are still receiving treatment in Aqaba hospitals as a result of a toxic gas leak on Monday in the southern coastal city is 57, including 8 foreigners, according to a medical source.

Four cases, according to the source, are in intensive care units. The remaining cases are described as moderate or light, and many of them are expected to soon leave hospitals.

Thirteen people were killed and more than 250 others were injured after a chlorine gas tank fell while being loaded onto a ship on Monday.
