Dip in temperatures to bring fair weather on Tuesday

A pleasant and humid air mass is forecast to sweep across the Kingdom on Tuesday, pushing mercury levels 4 degrees below average, and bringing fair weather in the highlands and plains, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Cooler conditions will prevail at night, with northwesterly winds and clouds at low altitudes.
Similar weather will persist on Wednesday, with a chance for scattered showers in the northern region, the JMD added.
Thursday will see a rise in temperatures to become around seasonal average, with mild weather in the highlands and hot weather in Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Today, mercury in Amman is expected to range between a high of 27 degrees Celsius, dropping to 14C at night, meanwhile, the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 36C, dipping to 23 during night hours.
