Moderate weather prevails Monday as temperatures dip

A tangible drop in temperatures is forecast on Monday, becoming 3 degrees below the annual average, and bringing moderate weather conditions in most regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
A slight chance for scattered showers in the northern region is also expected in the morning, the JMD added, with westerly moderate to brisk winds, stirring dust in the Badia.
Similar weather will persist on Tuesday and Wednesday despite a slight rise in mercury levels, with moderate weather reigning across the country, while it will stay hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at low altitudes in the north, with northwesterly moderate winds.
Today, mercury in Amman is expected to range between a high of 28 degrees Celsius, dropping to 15C at night, meanwhile, the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 38C, dipping to 25 during night hours.
