Warm weather, light showers forecast on Tuesday

The weather is forecast to remain warm on Tuesday, with a chance of light rainfall in the eastern parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The JMD warned of low visibility in Badia areas due to dusty winds, and possible danger from slippery roads in areas witnessing rain.

Hot to relatively hot weather will prevail on Wednesday and Thursday, with clouds at various altitudes and scattered showers in the eastern region.

Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 15C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 36C, sliding to 23C at night.
