Dry, dusty weather to prevail on Monday

Unstable, dry and dusty weather conditions caused by a Red Sea depression are expected to continue affecting the Kingdom on Monday, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Scattered showers in separate parts of the country are also forecast, turning into heavy with thunderstorms in the northern and eastern regions, and causing flashfloods in the valleys and low-lying areas.
The weather department warned of low horizontal visibility in most regions, and of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
The impact of the depression will taper off on Tuesday, but relatively hot weather will persist with clouds at various altitudes and a weak chance for scattered showers in the eastern part of the Kingdom.
Relatively hot weather will also continue on Wednesday, with a slight rise in mercury levels and easterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 17C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 34C, sliding to 21C at night.
