Jordan on Tuesday will be affected by a relatively cold and wet air mass, which will push temperatures 3-5 degrees Celsius below annual average, and bring cool, partly cloudy weather in most regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times and raising dust in the Badia.
On Wednesday, temperatures will slightly edge up but the weather will remain cold in the mountainous areas, and moderate elsewhere, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds.
Another rise in mercury levels is forecast on Thursday, to become around annual average, with spring-like weather conditions prevailing countrywide.
Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 6C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 26C, sliding to 14C at night.
