Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to slightly drop, but will remain 5-7 degrees Celsius above annual average, with pleasant spring-like weather prevailing in the mountains while it will be relatively hot elsewhere, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds will appear at high altitudes, with westerly moderate to brisk winds stirring dust in the Badia and causing low horizontal visibility.
Similar weather conditions will persist on Friday, with medium and high clouds and southwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times.
Saturday will see another drop in mercury levels, bringing moderate weather in most parts of the country, while it will stay relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD added.
Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 27 degrees Celsius and a low of 18C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 37C, sliding to 26C at night.
