Warm weather forecast for coming days

The weather on Monday is forecast to remain warm in the high areas and the plains, and relatively hot in other regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Clouds will appear at high altitudes, with northwesterly moderate winds.

Tuesday temperatures are expected to go up eight to ten degrees above their annual average, bringing hot to relatively hot weather countrywide.

Similar weather will persist on Wednesday, with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.

Mercury in Amman today will range between a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 12C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 34C, sliding to 20C at night.
