More than 4,000 students from 114 schools around the Kingdom have taken part in the semifinal competition of the Enterprise Business Challenge (EBC), implemented for the 11th year in a row by INJAZ, a local non-profit organization, in partnership with the Prince’s Trust International (PTI).
An INJAZ statement on Wednesday said that 12 out of 638 teams were qualified for the final competitions, as students were given a chance to conduct practical experiments and learn preeminent terms and terminologies of entrepreneurship and commercial ethics.
“As part of the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, the program contributed in teaching the students how to conduct business, take proper decisions, utilize points of strength and overcome any hurdles through innovation and technology,” the statement said.
This year’s competition also helped students demonstrate and present their ideas by using technology in education, and introduced them to the steps of building effective business strategies. It also included a set of sessions, through which students learnt about the concept of a business challenge, and got acquainted with the basic principles of entrepreneurship.
