A tangible drop in temperatures is expected on Monday, with relatively cold weather prevailing in most regions, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Colder weather will overrule at night, with clouds at low altitudes and westerly light winds, the JMD added, warning of the danger of low visibility due to fog formation and sandstorms, especially in the Badia region.
Pleasant weather conditions will come back on Tuesday, with a chance for scattered showers at night and southeasterly moderate winds.
On Wednesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a khamasini depression, during which dry and dusty weather is forecast, followed at night by a cold air mass which will bring rain and below average temperatures.
Mercury in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 6C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 23C, sliding to 13C at night.
