Moderate weather forecast for weekend

 The weather on Thursday is forecast to be moderate around the Kingdom, with a chance of light showers in the eastern region, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, while winds will be northeasterly moderate to northwesterly brisk.

The weather department warned of slippery roads, and of low-visibility due to dust formation in badia areas.

Similar weather will persist through the weekend with moderate breeze, but cooler conditions will prevail on Sunday as temperatures will slightly drop.

Today, mercury levels in Amman will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 19C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a sizzling 35C, dipping into 24C during night.
