Moderate weather forecast today, cooler at night

 Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to hover around their annual average, bringing moderate weather conditions countrywide, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

At night, cooler weather will prevail in the highlands, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added, warning of fog formation in the late night hours.

The department forecasts similar weather conditions for Wednesday, as well as Thursday.

Mercury levels in Amman today are expected to reach a high of 30 degrees Celsius during the day, and a low of 20 degrees at night, while Aqaba is predicted to witness levels between 38 degrees and 25 degrees.
