The JMD warned of the danger of direct exposure to sunlight at noon, mainly in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and of poor horizontal visibility in the desert due to dust.
Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will continue to persist with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 23C or even 17C in the southern highlands, the JMD added. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 42 degrees and lows sliding to 28C.
