Hot weather forecast nationwide for three days

Temperatures on Sunday is expected to rise few degrees, so it will be relatively hot in the highlands and the plains, and hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
In a daily report, the JMD warned of the danger of direct exposure to sunlight at noon, and of poor visibility in the Badia due to dust.
On Monday, a further rise in mercury levels is predicted, becoming 2-3 degrees above annual average and making scorching weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba until Tuesday, while it will remain relatively hot in the hilly areas and the plains, the JMD said.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 23C or even 18C in the southern highlands, the JMD added. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 42 degrees and lows sliding to 28C.
