Temperatures on Monday are expected to dip few degrees, bringing relatively hot to hot weather in most areas of the country until Tuesday, while it will remain moderate in the highlands and the plains, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at low altitudes are forecast to appear in the northern and central regions, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
On Wednesday, mercury levels will slightly rise, but similar weather conditions will continue to persist with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Monday will range between 25 and 29 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 18C or even 12C in the southern highlands. In the city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 36C and a low of 24C.
