Cold but sunny weather prevails until Friday

Sunny but cold conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be fair in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Metrological Department (JMD).

Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust especially in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD said.

Pleasant conditions are forecast over the next two days across many parts of the country, as mercury levels become 4-6 degrees above their annual average with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, raising dust in many areas, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach15 degrees Celsius in most regions, dropping down to 6 degrees in Amman and the northern cities, and sliding to 4 in the southern governorates. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 15 at night, the JMD added.
